What Are PowerRatings ?
PowerRatings are a proprietary stock rating method which ranks stocks 1-10. The higher the rating, the greater the one week historical gain has been for stocks with that rating. How Do I Use The Ratings? Ideally, you want to buy stocks rated 9 and 10 as they have on average outperformed the S&P 500 over the next week by a better than 12-1 margin since 1995.
Stocks rated 1 and 2 should be avoided as they have on average lost money over the next week.
The PowerRatings lists can be sorted by symbol, closing price, PowerRating, and PowerRating change from the previous day.
Who Created the TradingMarkets Power Ratings The Power Ratings were created by Connors Research Group under the guidance of Cesar Alvarez. Before joining Connors Research, Mr. Alvarez was a Senior Design Engineer of Excel for Microsoft.
